Erin Yen is originally from Chicago, IL, and maintains a growing body history eclectically composed of tap, ballet, modern, and contemporary dance styles. She has performed works by choreographers Bebe Miller, Ohad Naharin, Alvin Ailey, Eddie Taketa, and Ann Sofie Clemmensen, amongst many. Erin is currently pursuing her BFA in Dance at the Ohio State University. Here, she engages in projects such as Labanotating Doug Varone's choreography, and making work that invites an intersection of the individualistic histories that are understood by separate bodies. As a movement artist, and a movement analyst, Erin is interested in helping facilitate conversation at the body centered level.
