Piece information including music and video files, props, lighting requests (limited!), and all program details (minimum of dancer, choreographer, and music credits) due by January 20
Tech and showcase are scheduled for Saturday February 4 at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
Volunteer opportunities are available for social media promotion, event ticketing, and fundraising available and require immediate fulfillment.

Marcella Day &
Angelica Daniele
Marcella Day grew up in La Plata, Maryland where she performed with local studios and companies in both Maryland and Virginia. She continued dancing her way through college, earning her BFA in Dance from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA under the direction of Buffy Price and Susan Shields. While in college she performed and choreographed several student works and worked with outside artists such as Woodbridge Dance Company and Baltimore choreographer, Desiree Koontz-Nachtrieb. During the summers she received scholarships to study at the Mark Morris Summer Intensive in Brooklyn, NY and at the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC. She began her fitness journey after her freshman year of college when she was approached by a gym employee about subbing an upcoming Zumba class. She got her Zumba license in July 2012 and since then has grown to teach barre, Zumba Toning, sculpting, and conditioning for dancers. She relocated to Pittsburgh in October of 2015. Recent performances include Remainder/Northside with Attack Theatre; newMoves Festival at the Kelly Strayhorn Theatre; Movement Research Open Performance in New York City; and the premiere of Something Pretty choreographed by Alexandra Bodnarchuk, performed at the Kelly Strayhorn Theatre. She is a former member of Bombyx Collective, Exhalations Dance Theatre, and Courdance and is currently the Community Division Manager for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and co-Director of Nachmo Pittsburgh.
Angelica Daniele is a Philadelphia native who earned her M.A. in Arts Administration from Goucher College in 2012. She graduated in 2009 from Goucher with her B.A., summa cum laude, in dance and psychology with concentrations in both arts administration and dance therapy. Angelica danced professionally in Baltimore for 7 seasons with Full Circle Dance Company, and managed its host dance school, Morton Street Dance Center, from 2009-2020. As a choreographer and dancer, she has produced several ensemble works, earned the Mark Ryder Original Choreography Award through the Howard County Arts Council in 2012, served on the board of the Maryland Council for Dance, and also served as a grant panelist with the Maryland State Arts Council. Angelica was one of the founder's and Program Coordinator for the Dance/USA Institute for Leadership Training (DILT), modeled off her personally developed mentorship program, begun at Goucher College in 2007. Angelica also served as an adjunct lecturer in Strategic Arts Management for Goucher College's undergraduate business department. Angelica now teaches yoga full-time at Yoga Factory Pittsburgh and coordinates their trainings, retreats, and education programs. She is co-Director for NACHMO Pittsburgh and the owner of Radiant Elle™ yoga apparel. She earned her M.S. in Psychology with concentration in Addictions through Purdue University in May 2022 from which she developed a nonprofit organization, Yoga Recovery Pittsburgh, which encompasses her Reiki practice and Yoga for 12-Step Recovery™ (Y12SR) training.
