About the Ann Arbor Regional NACHMO Hub
The Ann Arbor Regional NACHMO Hub was officially founded in 2024, making it the first Michigan Hub in NACHMO’s history! In previous years, members of the local community participated in NACHMO’s National January Choreography Challenge and even brought their creations to perform at NACHMO Louisville, KY’s Hub show in 2023. They are thrilled to have their own NACHMO Hub to represent Michigan for the 2024 season and beyond!
The Ann Arbor Hub is presented by Dance Uprising, Directed by Amy Cadwallader, and Ann Arbor Dance Network, Directed by Sean Hoskins.

About the Show: The first showing for NACHMO Ann Arbor will feature 17 pieces created by 19 choreographers and includes a wide range of performers including professional companies, paid dancers, non-profits, independent artists.
Partners: NACHMO Ann Arbor is excited to partner with the City of Ypsilanti to use the historic Ypsilanti Freighthouse as the site of their show. They are also partnering with Terpsichore Dance Collective, local DJ GingerAnn Neslund, and Ann Arbor Dance Network for the use of technical elements such as marley flooring, sound equipment, and lighting.
Styles of Dance: Ann Arbor NACHMO’s show will feature a variety of styles including modern, hells, tap, contact, and more!
